1810 - Battle of Busaco; Pte. James Hopkins, 52nd, in this action took prisoner the French General Simon.
1872 – 43rd – Embarked at Queenstown and sailed for Cannanore East Indies.
43rd Depot was left in Cork attached to 2nd Bn 7th Royal Fusiliers.
1918 – 2nd Bn OXF & BUCKS LI – MORCHIES.
Continued the move forward at 11.15AM to J.23.a in artillery formation and on reaching this point rested until 5.45PM when the move to LOCK 7 (Canal-du-Nord) was completed.
1918 –1/1stBuckinghamshire Battalion – KABERLABA SOUTH.
