1917 - 6th (S) Bn OXF & BUCKS LI - heavily engaged in Battle of the Menin Road (3rd YPRES) ATTACK ON EAGLE TRENCH.
1919 –1st Bn, OXF & BUCKS LI – NORTH RUSSIA.
Arrived opposite Archangel at 1800 hrs our destination is not now RIKNASIKHA but BAKHARITKA.
Colonel and Adjutant went ashore and visited G.H.Q. and obtained the following information.
Regiment is going to BAKHARITEA. “D” Coy (less 1 platoon) is already there.
2 platoons “C” Coy. (Meade) and 1 platoon “D” coy. (De Vitre) are at RIKASIKHA.
Regiment and 18 officers embark with Brigade Head Quarters in the SCHLESWIG.
28 officers embark in Breamar Castle.
1919 –2nd Bn, OXF & BUCKS LI – CORK, IRELAND.
2nd Lieut. J. Pickard on arrival was posted to D Company.
1946 – 1st Bn OXF & BUCKS LI – AUSTRIA.
Lieut K. Phillips, Pte Francis and Pte Vince buried in Military Cemetery, Udine.
1957 - 1st Bn OXF & BUCKS LI (43rd & 52nd) – CYPRUS.
The Under Secretary of State for War, Captain Julian Amery, M.P., visited the Regiment.
1958 - 1st Bn OXF & BUCKS LI (43rd & 52nd) – CYPRUS.
Lieut. T. M. Hartley completed APIU Course in Cyprus.
1959 – 1st GREEN JACKETS (43rd & 52nd) – JELLALABAD BKS, TIDWORTH
The Regiment provided a party of 3 officers and 50 soldiers for the Battle of Britain Sunday church parade.
It was commanded by Major P. J. Durant, m.b.e.
The Regiment was presented with a bugle major's mace by the Bicester Urban District Council.
A guard for the occasion was commanded by Major R. M. Colvile and the Regimental colour was carried by Lieut. J. P. Watts.
The Colonel Commandant accepted the mace on behalf of the Regiment.
1962 - 1st GREEN JACKETS (43rd & 52nd) – MINDEN BKS, PENANG, MALAYA.
"C" Company left for classification camp at Taiping,
1963 – 1st GREEN JACKETS (43rd & 52nd) –BRUNEI.
"C" Company returned with the Band from Sandakan.
