1857 – 52nd – during the engagements with mutineers from August 14th to September 20th the 52nd lost 1 Officer, 1 Serjeant and 25 men killed. 3 Officers and 82 men wounded.
98 men died of cholera and other diseases.

1919 –1st Bn, OXF & BUCKS LI – NORTH RUSSIA.
Sisko disembarked 2 3-inch guns early in the morning and handed them over to the Russian Authorities.
Continued journey and passed UST PINEGA in the afternoon.
(Note two entries for 16th when we withdrew the Russians were holding BERESNIK which had been our base for Dvina and Vaga Forces. When we arrived at Archangel we heard that they had arrived at MORJEGGORSKAY and were holding that place. Up to the time we embarked we got no further news of them)
1919 –2nd Bn, OXF & BUCKS LI – CORK, IRELAND.
Lieut, and Acting Captain Horley, M.C., relinquished the acting rank of Captain (granted 1.3.19), and reverted to the permanent rank of Lieutenant.
1946 – 1st Bn OXF & BUCKS LI – AUSTRIA.
Lieut K, Phillips, Pte Francis and Pte Vince killed in railway accident.

1958 - 1st Bn OXF & BUCKS LI (43rd & 52nd) – CYPRUS.
The Regiment again assumed responsibility for Milpol and the Commanding Officer became I.S. Area Commander, on the departure of 19 Independent Infantry Brigade Group.
A large store of bombs discovered under a house in Limassol was blown up, together with the house.
1962 - 1st GREEN JACKETS (43rd & 52nd) – MINDEN BKS, PENANG, MALAYA.
Colonel E. G. B. Davies-Scourfield,m.b.e., m.c., the Brigade Colonel, The Green Jackets Brigade, arrived for a short visit to the Regiment.
