Orders for Egyptian Draft cancelled, thereby affecting some 109 (previously 217) men who had been warned for this, clothed and sent on leave, and had been waiting for orders for several weeks.
1924 – 1st Bn OXF & BUCKS LI – Orders were issued that Buff Belts would be taken into wear for Walking Out, with effect from the 22nd inst.

Lieut. R. A. Pascoe was re-granted the temporary rank of Captain.
Letter ‘C’ Company moved out on a company detachment at Perakhorio.
1957 - 1st Bn OXF & BUCKS LI (43rd & 52nd) – CYPRUS.
Major A. B. Gillespie-Hill assumed command of the Regiment in the absence of Lieut.-Colonel J. A. J. Read, D.S.O. M.C.
1958 - 1st Bn OXF & BUCKS LI (43rd & 52nd) – CYPRUS.
The Director of Operations, Major General D. A. Kendrew, C.B., C.B.E., D.S.O., made his farewell visit to the Regiment, and addressed all ranks.
1959 – 1st GREEN JACKETS (43rd & 52nd) – JELLALABAD BKS, TIDWORTH
The Regiment sent a party of 3 officers and 14 soldiers to take part in an Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire (T.A.) exercise at Witney.
1962 - 1st GREEN JACKETS (43rd & 52nd) – MINDEN BKS, PENANG, MALAYA.
Major-General W. C. Walker, c.b.e., d.s.o., the Divisional Commander, visited the Regiment.
1963 – 1st GREEN JACKETS (43rd & 52nd) –BRUNEI.
The Brigade Commander visited "B" Company at Tutong.
