1807 – 52nd - Danish Expedition, 2nd Bn. 52nd engaged in the siege of Copenhagen.
1883 – 2nd Bn Oxf LI – The New Equipment, consisting of a valise in which the great coat is packed, was issued to the Regiment.
1918 – 2nd Bn OXF & BUCKS LI – A.21d. Near COURCELLES.
The Regiment rested in COURCELLES area.
Church Parade 11am.
100th Reinforcement joined the Regiment = 1 Sgt & 22 ORs.
1918 –1/1stBuckinghamshire Battalion – GRANEZZA.
The Battalion having changed from Drill into Serge again, the Commanding Officer inspected all Coys during the Morning.
No Training carried out.
Ration Strength: 19 Officers 493 OR. Casualties: 2 OR to Hospital – Sick.

Move started to the beaches - marching to start with, as the troop-carrying transport failed to materialize.
The night of the 1st September was spent at a transit camp at Ryes.
