Reserve Battalion of Brigade in the Line.
The following Officers joined for Duty and were posted to Companies as shown:-

74th Reinforcement - C.S.M. Clare and 16 NCO’s and men joined for Duty.
1917 – 1/1st Buckinghamshire Battalion – SUPPORT TRENCHES
Battn in Support Trenches. –
Quiet Day.
Enemy Artillery more active in the back areas, also near BDE HQ at KIBOKO WOOD (H.36.a).
The SOMME was frozen over at BIACHES but flowing freely opposite BAZINCOURT FARM (H.24.g).
1917 – 6th (S) Bn Oxf & Bucks LI – to Trenches.
1934 – 2nd Bn Oxf & Bucks LI – Information received that the Army Council has approved of the following as the centre badge on the Regimental Colours:- “A Bugle Horn Stringed”. This will replace the United Red and White rose.
