The 5th Infantry Brigade which had moved into trenches at CUINCHY on 3rd relieved by 4th (Guards) Brigade and moved into billets in BETHUNE and vicinity.

Quiet morning.
Rifle grenades used on both sides, two landed behind A Coy Fire Trench 4.15pm wounding Capts REYNOLDS, BOWYER, Lieut GREEN & 6 Other Ranks.
3 Shells close to BN HQ at 5pm
One man killed early morning (D Coy) (Pte E Whitfield) in trench.
1945 - 2nd (Airborne) Bn Oxf & Bucks LI - Bad Kleinen
Our area is now completely clear of P.W. This morning at 1100 hrs.
14 representatives per company attended a Divisional Thanksgiving service at WISMAR.
