1814 – 52nd – 1st Bn 52nd proceeded from Castel Sarrasin (France) to Bordeaux, whence on the 17th embarked for England.
1859 – 52nd - Burning of the Eastern Monarch; detachment of the 52nd on board.
1907 – 2nd Bn Oxf LI – Colonel Wrigley (D.A.G Equipment and Ordnance Stores) and the inventor arrived to fit on the new equipment (Mills-Burrowe).
1917 - 3rd/4th JUNE 1917 – 2nd Bn OXF & BUCKS LI – WILLERVAL.
The Regiment was relieved by the 1/The Kings Regiment and took over the camp at ROCLINCOURT vacated by that regiment.
Casualties (3rd) – Killed = 4
1917 – 1/1st Buckinghamshire Battalion – IN RESERVE and in OUTPOST LINE.

Service at 10.30am.
During the night 3/4th the Battn relieved the 1/5th GLOSTERS in the OUTPOST LINE moving by PLATOONS from J31d and taking over the following dispositions
D Coy Right Front Company holding 3 Posts from K32A 6.8 inclusive to K20 C2.5 inclusive with Coy HQ at K25g4.5.
A Coy Left Front Coy holding 4 Posts from K20c2.5 inclusive to K14c2.5 inclusive with Coy HQ at K13c4.3.
B Coy in SUPPORT at J30b.
C Coy in RESERVE at J29g.
The relief was carried out without interruption and all Coys relieved by 12.30am 4th.
