1915 - 2nd Bn Oxf & Bucks LI - GORRE
In Brigade Reserve.
Companies employed in Route Marching, Musketry, training Bomb throwers, negotiating obstacles across country etc
1915 – 1/1st Buckinghamshire Battalion – TERGENHEM
Companies at training close to billets – 5 men sick, sent to hospital
1945 – 1st Bn Oxf & Bucks LI – North West Europe
After a, pause at Vreden the 3rd and 4th April were spent in clearing an area north of Gronau (5102) and Ochtrup (6201). No enemy were encountered.
1945- 2nd (Airborne) Bn, Oxf & Bucks LI – NWE Hasbergen
In the morning we moved on behind the Para Brigades along the road to OSNABRUCK.
1310 - Arrived HASBERGEN where apart from patrolling the woods in search of stragglers we spent a restful evening & night.
1945 – 1st Buckinghamshire Battalion adopted the “T Force” role.
