1810 -  The Light Division retiring on Torres Vedras, reached Pombal
 
1917 – 2nd Bn OXF & BUCKS LI – CAMBRIN.
The following Officers joined from home and were posted as shaown:-
2/Lt W A CREAK to D Coy.
2/Lt W S MORETON to B Coy.
 
1917–1/1st Buckinghamshire Battalion – LINE V 25.C 9.6 To D1d 4.7
Very Fine- Good Visibility. 
Enemy shelling rather heavy. Chief targets  “ C” Coy trench & Coy HQ_also TRIANGLE – ST JULIEN RD.
Sniping active during night.
CAPT M BOWEN sniped whilst going round Right Coys line – Wounded dangerously, base of lung.
2 Patrols sent out by each of A & D Coys.
CAPT G R CROUCH reported from Leave. Remained at BN HQ as 2nd in Command.
Some light rain during night.

1917 – 1/4th (TF) Bn OXF & BUCKS LI – To REIGERSBERG CAMP (Ypres)
 
1917 – 5th (S) Bn OXF & BUCKS LI – Relieved from Trenches and returned to BRISTOL CASTLE (Ypres)
 
1917 – 7th (S) Bn OXF & BUCKS LI – Returned to SMOL HILL (Salonika).
