Relieved 17th Royal Fusiliers in same sector as before.
During this period the enemy were quiet except for some more frequent shelling of Right Communication Trench and all along front line. 3 Companies are in front line each with one platoon in Support Line.
The fourth company has three platoons in Suppoer Line on the extreme right with the remaining platoon at P.C.4. close to Advanced Battalion HQ. Normal regimental Headquarters is in MECHANIC Trench as before for Centre Battalion.
Casualties: 3 Wounded (CSM MARTIN died of his wounds).
North at HULLOCH and on 1st Division front just North of 6th Brigade on our Left enemy active with gas attacks which met with no success. There has also been much shelling near GIVENCHY-EN-GOHELLE on 47th Division front just South of 99th Brigade on our right.
