In billets in La Vallee area.
During this period (24th – 29th) a new system of bombing attacks was practised by all companies and the usual drills and exercises performed.
The weather was exceedingly bad, most of the ground being under water.
In consequence work was greatly interfered with.
Small parties of reinforcement arrived making a total of 20 in all (20th, 23rd & 27th)
1915– 1/1st Buckinghamshire Battalion – HEBUTERNE
Battalion relieved 6/GLOSTERS at 12.30pm.
A & B Coys in Trenches. C & D Support.
B Coy 10/R INNISKILLING FUSILIERS arrived at 5pm for attachment.
2 Platoons to each A & B, Coy HQ to A Coy.
Rain up till 3pm.
1964 – 1st Green Jackets, (43rd & 52nd) – Arrived back at Penang after operational service in Borneo.
