Remainder of these companies in Billets in FESTUBERT VILLAGE.
Headquarters and 2 companies occupy breastworks of “Old British Line”.
Garrisons of Islands relieved every 24 hours.
Very quiet period.

10PM. Battalion Relieved by 1/7 WORCESTERS in Trenches.
Major L C HAWKINS assumed command at night Vice LT COL C P DOIG DSO injured by fall from horse on way back to Billets.
1925 – 1st Bn Oxf & Bucks LI – The Regiment left Shorncliffe and moved to Cologne (BAOR). Strength 20 Officers, 6 Warrant Officers and 497 Other Ranks.
