The regiment continued to occupy the original British Line except that there were posts forward on the flanks in order to keep in touch with the Australians on the left of the 17th Royal Fusiliers.

1932 – 1st Bn Oxf & Bucks LI – The Regiment left Albany Barracks, Parkhurst, IOW proceeded via Cowes and Southampton to Martinque Barracks, Bordon Camp, Hants.
