1915 – 2nd Bn Oxf & Bucks LI - BETHUNE
In afternoon relieved by 19th London Regiment (TF) and moved into billets in RUE D’ARRAS quarter of town.
1915 – 1/1st Buckinghamshire Battalion – ROMARIN
Bn resting, one Coy (A) had baths in NIEPPE
1917 - Battle of Doiran; 7th and 8th Bns Oxf & Bucks LI, present.
1943 – 6th Airborne Division was formed.
1945 – 1st Bn Oxf & Bucks LI – North West Europe
On the 24th the Regiment was relieved of its positions and moved round to Scheessel (1609) and later to Hetzwege (1112) as a preliminary to an attack north-west the following day.
1945 - 2nd (Airborne) Bn, Oxf & Bucks LI - NWE Ebsdorf
A fine day devoted to maintenance & recces for training. Also baths.
