1916 – 1/1st Buckinghamshire Battalion – TRENCHES N of LE SARS
Battn in Trenches.
Apart from the usual shelling nothing out of the way occurred.
At 3.30pm however SCOTLAND TRENCH & CHALK TRENCH were heavily shelled for 10 minutes.
A thick mist lasted all through the day & night & no patrols were sent out owing to this.
An Inter-Company relief took place.

1916 – 2/4th Bn Oxf & Bucks LI – To trenches about Mouquet Farm and Ovillers.
1916 – 2/1st Bucks Bn – To huts at Ovillers.
