1776 - 52nd left New York with expedition to Rhode Island.
1915 – 2nd Bn Oxf & Bucks LI – To Trenches at CUINCHY.
Enemy very quiet, a few trench mortars at intervals.
Four platoons (one company) of 17th Royal Fusiliers attached for 24 hours.
One Platoon did duty with each of our companies.
Lieutenants A G CARDY and G FIELD posted for duty with the Mediterranean Expeditionary Force.
