1900 - 1st-Bn Oxf LI engaged at Kitchener's Kop.
1901 - H.M. The King of Portugal appointed Colonel-in-Chief of the Regiment.
1915 – 2nd Bn Oxf & Bucks LI – In trenches near FESTUBERT.
Practically no shelling and not much sniping.
Work continued principally in improving of small redoubts in breastwork line and construction of larger and self contained redoubts in second line on outskirts of village.
Two platoons from each company (First line) in breastworks always.
