Major General Sir Robert FANSHAWE KCB, DSO Commanding 48th (South Midland) Division TF visited the regiment in the morning, but was unable to remain longer.
The long deferred waterloo Sports were successfully carried out on the Parade Ground and football field.
Major General H R DAVIES CB Commanding 11th Division was present.
