On the afternoon of the 17th November the 52nd Light Infantry and 17th Royal Fusiliers were withdrawn to billets in MAILLY MAILLET.

Usual enemy shelling of front line, OG1 & 2 LE SARS, DESTEREMONT FARM.
26TH AVENUE was persistently shelled during the afternoon with 15cm shells.
At night the Battn was relieved by 1/4 OXFORD & BUCKS LI.
Bn HQ, A & D Coys moved to MARTINPUICH, C Coy to 70TH TRENCH, & B to 26TH AVENUE.
1918 – 2nd Bn Oxf & Bucks LI - commenced the march to the Rhine.
