1827 – 43rd – arrived in Portugal as part of Army of Occupation.
1916 – 2nd Bn Oxf & Bucks LI – COTTES (ST.HILAIRE)
Regiment in billets. 5th Infantry Brigade (and 2nd Division) in Corps Reserve.
7.40am. Regiment paraded and marched 3 miles to LILLERS, where at 9am it entrained for BETHUNE. Detrained there at 9.45am and marched 2 ¼ miles to billets at ESSARS.

Battalion in Billets.
Coys at disposal of OC Coys for training.
1945 – 2nd (AB) Bn Oxf & Bucks LI – North West Europe
Moved to Fromelennes on the 17th, where it stayed until the 24th.
