1917 – 2nd Bn OXF & BUCKS LI – CAMBLAIN CHATELAIN
A series of Regimental photographs were taken, by permission of the Brigadier General and some very successful sports in spite of the very inclement weather were held on the afternoon of the 16th.
1917 – 1/1st Buckinghamshire Battalion – OUTPOST LINE.
Outpost Line. – The day passed very Quiet.
Weather was Very Wet and Cold making communications difficult and a dark Night added to
it.
Hostile Artillery was very quiet a few shells dropping behind DEMICOURT and about 6 friendly Mortar Shells were fired in front of A Coy Post.
Observers reported various small parties of enemy walking about.
2 patrols went out with Good results.
Ration Strength: 22 Officers 582 OR.
1928 – 2nd Bn Oxf & Bucks LI – (India) – The new Khaki Flannel Shirt was taken into use in place of the Grey Flannel Shirt. Existing stocks to be worn out before replacement.
