1853 – 43rd - End of the Kaffir War.
1886 – 2nd Bn Oxf LI – Moved from Gibraltar to Egypt.
1917 – 2nd Bn OXF & BUCKS LI
The Regiment was employed in road making in 6 hour shifts as under:-
A and D Coys on the PYS – LE SARS Road.
B and C Coys on the WARLENCOURT – LE SARS Road
1917 – 1/1st Buckinghamshire Battalion – CAMP 56 (CAPPY-ECLUSIER RD)
Bn in Divl Reserve. –
2 Coys baths at CAPPY.
Training- Presentation of medals by Corps Commander at Divl HQ 100 OR C Coy attended.
