Outpost Line. - Rather Quiet. ENEMY SHELLED close to some of our Posts paying particular attention to the Sunken Roads. - DEMICOURT was shelled intermittently during the day and Night. Machine Guns swept the front with short bursts.
2 Patrols went out during the night and collected useful information.

Normal peace-time routine continues. Fine weather & plenty of recreational facilities. The chief business in hand is the working out of release groups. An advance party from the artillery of 5th British Division arrived to look at our area with a view to taking over.
