On this day 15th February
1915 – 2nd Bn Oxf & Bucks LI - In trenches near FESTUBERT.
Practically no shelling and not much sniping.
Work continued every night, principally in improving of small redoubts in breastwork line and construction of larger and self contained redoubts in second line on outskirts of village.
Two platoons from each company (First line) in breastworks always.
1916 – Provisional Bn. (of 1st Bn.), 400 strong, joined the force for relief of Kut at Wadi.
