Lt (A/Capt) M S GRIFFITH-WILLIAMS handed over command of Letter C Company, which he had held for 9 months to Lt P A BOBBY and proceeded on 14 days Special Leave on Urgent Private Affairs to England; subsequently extended to 31.10.17.

Moved from DAMBRE to ST JAN TER BIEZEN starting at 5.20pm.
Pouring rain throughout the march.
Battn reached ROAD CAMP at 8.30pm.
