1857 - 52nd marched 42 miles in 20 hours to intercept the Sealkote mutineers, weather very hot.
1915 – 2nd Bn Oxf & Bucks LI -IN TRENCHES AT GIVENCHY.
Very quiet on the whole, though odd shells and rifle grenades fired at times, mostly against front line trenches.
Casualties: Wounded – 2LT S M MINIFIE-HAWKINS (seriously)
