Very quiet on the whole, though odd shells and rifle grenades fired at times, mostly against front line trenches.

1915 – 1/1st Buckinghamshire Battalion – ALLOUANGE
Battalion in Billets.
Practice attack by night by Bde 4/Berks & 4/Oxfords in trenches.
Bucks and 5/Glosters further attack by daylight
1956 – 1st Bn Oxf & Bucks LI (43rd & 52nd) -The Regiment arrived at Brentwood at 11.30 hrs and moved to Warley Barracks
