The Regiment marched from CHARLEROI to SART EUSTACHE, via GILLY - CHATELET – PRESLES.
The Regimental Starting Point was passed at 07.45hrs. Companies marching in order: Buglers, Band, HeadQuarters, B, C Coys. The roads were either pave or heavy with mud which made marching tiring. No one fell out.
Billets were reached about 12.15hrs. Regimental HeadQuarters were in a Chateau.

1918 - 2/4th Bn Oxf & Bucks LI - LOURQUES .
The train started from LOURQUES at 0930 hours and proceeded through DOUAI and BREBIERES to ARRAS where a wait of several hours occurred.
Iron rations were eaten by the whole Battalion during the journey.
At 2000 hours the train had reached FREVENT where it remained in a siding until past midnight.
