1800 - 52nd - landed at Lisbon (after Ferrol).
1918 – 2nd Bn OXF & BUCKS LI – MERBES–STE.MARIE to CHARLEROI.
At 0800hrs the Regiment in order: Buglers, Band, A Coy, HeadQuarters, C, B, Coys marched from MERBES–STE.MARIE to CHARLEROI via BIENNE-LEZ-HAPPART – MONT STE. GENEVIEVE – PLEIN DES CHENES – FONTAINE L’EVEQUE.
Rain had made the roads heavy and during most of the march rain fell.
Billets were reached about 14.00hrs. Officers were billeted comfortably in private houses as also the companies which were in two large schools, only one man fell out.
A slow party was formed at PLEIN DE CHENES, with which the cookers moved, after providing teas for the Regiment.
Capt C W H Baillie rejoined from leave.

Ration Strength: 25 Officers 662 OR. Casualties: 3 OR Hospital.
1918 - 2/4th Bn Oxf & Bucks LI - CAMBRAI .
The Battalion was under orders to entrain at 1600 hours but owing to delay in railway transportation this did not happen.
The Battalion remained in billets for the night.
