1813 – Light Division – after Nivelle the Light Division went into position at Arcangues forming part of a defensive line of posts on the frontier of France.
1917 – 2nd Bn Oxf & Bucks LI transferred by rail from Ypres to Cambrai area.
1918 – 2nd Bn OXF & BUCKS LI – VIEUX RENG to MERBES–STE.MARIE.
The Regiment marched in order – HeadQuarters, D, A, B, C Coys to MERBES–STE.MARIE via PEISSANT. Moving off at 08.30hrs and arriving in billets at 10.50hrs.
Owing to hard frost going was good.
The Regiment during the march owing to its more rapid rate of marching was able to have an extra halt, and so avoid over an hours continuous marching.
The company billets were very scattered.
1918 –1/1stBuckinghamshire Battalion – MAGLIO.
Sunday – Voluntary Church Parades.
3 Coys had baths.
2 more pigs bought for Xmas.
Ration Strength: 26 Officers 675 OR. Casualties: 3 OR Hospital.
