1917 – 2nd Bn OXF & BUCKS LI – LE NOUVEAU MONDE.
The Regiment carried out a practice “Attack at Dawn” in the approved formations in the fields about “CLARKE FARM” (billet of D Coy), satisfactory.
Yukon packs and tumplines played there part.
The Rouse in the dark, concentration and assembly in position was well carried out.

The Battn moved in the Morning from LE PENDU CAMP starting at 9am, and marched to Billets at TINQUES and TINQUETTES (C.4 & 5) arriving about 12.30pm.
Battn was disposed as follows:-
Bn HQers B & D Coys TINQUES
Transport C and A Coys TINQUETTES
Officers Billets very Good, but men’s Billets in TINQUES poor.
1917 – 1/4th (TF) Bn Oxf & Bucks LI – To billets in Savy, Berles, Vandelicourt.
1917 – 6th (S) Bn Oxf & Bucks LI – On relief marched to FINS
