1841 – 52nd - Percussion fire-locks issued to the 52nd in place of flintlocks
1857- 52nd - First news of Mutiny at Delhi reached the 52nd at Sealkote.
1907 – 1st Bn Oxf LI – A new pattern Regimental Badge on the khaki helmet was taken into wear consisting of a diamond shaped piece of scarlet cloth with a bugle and the word “OXFORD” worked on it in white worsted.
1918 - 1st Bn. Oxf & Bucks LI - Returned to SAHILYA, after dispersal of Turks.
1918 – 2nd Bn OXF & BUCKS LI – SAULTY.
The following appointments were made:-
To be Musketry Officer – Lt P Booth.
To be Intelligence Officers – 2LT C R Crosley.
Training began on organised lines according to programme.
Programmes to be rendered weekly and due brigade Headquarters on Thursdays for the following week.
1918 –1/1stBuckinghamshire Battalion – PRIA DEL ACQUA.
Divisional Reserve.
B and D Coys found Working Party of 200 during the Morning.
Heavy rain in the Afternoon.
Ration Strength: 28 Officers 725 OR. Casualties: NIL.
1947 – 1st Bn Oxf & Bucks LI - The Regiment arrives Bristol Barracks, Luneberg, and relieves the 2nd Bn the Devonshire Regiment.
