1918 - 1st Bn Oxf & Bucks LI - engaged Battle of Khan Baghdadi (Mesopotamia).
1918 - 2nd Bn Oxf & Bucks LI - Withdrew to MAILLY-MAILLET.
Early, time unknown, the Regiment came under orders of the brigadier General Commanding 6th Infantry Brigade who withdrew its position slightly, and from the crossings, to a much better one – in Old British Trenches.
But for some shelling the day was quiet, it was felt universally that relief must come soon.
Orders came after dusk that the Regiment would withdraw, passing through a Division of New Zealand troops, and bivouac in MAIILY-MAILLET Wood.
Casualties: Wounded 3. Missing = 3.

Battalion Outpost scheme & had to dismiss at 11am owing to rain.
2/LTs BOCKING & BUTLER returned from ROME.

1918 - 2/4th Bn Oxf & Bucks LI - To FRESNOY-LA-CHAUSSEE. (France)
The Battalion marched to billets at FRESNOY-LA CHAUSSEE in the morning and to MEZIERES in the afternoon, which village was placed in a state of defence.
At 11 p.m. moved forward to billets at LE QUESNIL for purpose of counter-attack.
Casualties. – 2 O.R. wounded.
1918 - 5th (S)Bn Oxf & Bucks LI - To ECOUVILLON and later to ELINCOURT. (France)
Battn marches out at 7 a.m. to ECOUVILLE & prepare to take up a position there covering the French.
At 4 p.m. march to ELINCOURT where men get billets with plenty of straw.
1945 - 1st Bn Oxf & Bucks LI – North West Europe
Crossed the Rhine on the night of the 26th/27th, moving up behind the leading divisions.
1945 - 2nd (AB) Bn Oxf & Bucks LI – HAMMINKELN (North West Europe)
0600 - Relief complete. Regiment assembled West of HAMMINKELN area 204495.
1100 - Moved off through HAMMINKELN behind Devons & RUR whose objective was high ground West of BRUNEN.
The Regiment then took up the reserve position with Regt H.Q. at BRAMBERGHOF 249486.
In the evening the "sea tails" under Maj A.C. Mason caught up with us.
The axis is very busy and there is the transport of 52 Division plus a Guards Armoured Brigade, also S.P. guns & A.A. guns.
