1919 –1/1stBuckinghamshire Battalion – MAGLIO.
Nothing Unusual.
Ration Strength: 5 Officers 52 OR. Casualties: NIL.
1986 – 1st Battalion, The Royal Green Jackets – Northern Ireland.
Remembering today – Rfn D A MULLEY - Northern Ireland.
“IT was perhaps symptomatic of the tragedy of the place that no more than three days into the tour Rfn David Mulley was murdered by an RCIED whilst on patrol in Castlewellan.
This incident had a galvanising effect on anyone who may have been unaware of the full extent of the problem and, up to the last day of the tour no one relaxed their vigil or efforts.”
