1889 – Oxf LI – Army Order 136 of 1889 contained the following:-
“In consideration of the services rendered by the Oxfordshire Light Infantry (2nd Battalion, late 52nd Light Infantry) during the campaign in Southern India, 1790-92, Her Majesty the Queen has been graciously pleased to permit the Regiment to bear the distinction of MYSORE on its Colours”.
1919 –1/1stBuckinghamshire Battalion – MAGLIO.
