1812 – 43rd and 52nd - Storming of Ciudad Rodrigo; Major-General Craufurd, commanding the Light Division, mortally wounded.(Peninsula)
1918 – 2nd Bn OXF & BUCKS LI – BEAULENCOURT (France)
Lieut. Neville, M.C., with No. 6 Platoon, having proceeded to 3rd Army Musketry School on 5/1/18 returned therefrom on this date, having earned a very good report but had been robbed of all their blankets, which was duly reported
1918 –1/1st Buckinghamshire Battalion - S CROCE BIGOLINA.(Italy)
Brigade Route March.
Battalion paraded at 8.20am and passed Brigade Starting Point NOVE CROSSROADS at 10.24am.
Battalion turned off the road about 1/4 of a mile beyond this point and formed up in a field. Scouts were then put out and touch found with other units.
Battalion started march home at 12.30pm arriving in Billets about 3pm.
Ration Strength: 37 Officers 828 OR. Casualties: NIL.
