1809 – 43rd and 52nd - Sir John Moore's retreat on Corunna. 1st Bn 43rd and 2nd Bn 52nd embarked at Vigo for England.
1814 – 52nd - Merxem (Netherlands); 2nd Bn. 52nd engaged all day holding the village against the French.
1900 - 1st Bn Oxf LI - arrived in South Africa.(Boer War)
1918 – 2nd Bn OXF & BUCKS LI – BEAULENCOURT
1918 –1/1st Buckinghamshire Battalion - S CROCE BIGOLINA.
Battalion (less B Coy & 1/2 A Coy) attended Church Parade in the Morning.
Fatigue party under LIEUT DARBY consisting of B Coy & 1/2 A Coy proceeded to CARMIGNANO STN to unload wood trains returning to Billets about 4pm.
2ndLIEUT STOKES to Hospital – Sick.
2nd LIEUT COXEN rejoined from the Base.
R.S.M.VINCENT awarded the Military Cross.
