An examination for 2nd and 3rd Class Army School Certificates was held at Zons, which was made one of the Divisional Sub-Centres for the 5th and 99th Infantry Brigades.
The Regiment had 8 entries for 2nd Class and 53 entries for 3rd Class, who actually competed, and, there would have been more but for demobilisation coming more than usually quickly.
The month passed pleasantly and without incident.

On the 28th the Regiment was relieved by the 1st Highland Light Infantry.
1945 – 2nd Bn Oxf & Bucks LI – Arrived at BULFORD (from Operations connected with the Ardennes Offensive)
1959 – 1st Green Jackets (43rd & 52nd) – “The last men of the last Draft to be trained at Cowley Barracks joined the Regiment”
