1887 - 1st Bn Oxf LI – 43rd arrived at Shorncliffe after 14 1/2 years in India.
1900 - 1st Bn Oxf LI - ordered to take part in the invasion of the Orange Free State.(Boer War)
1919 – 2nd Bn OXF & BUCKS LI – ZONS.
Lt T Tyrwhitt Drake, M.C. joined a School of Instruction at Berkhampstead, having proceeded to England for the purpose several days previously.
Capt A J Chaffey,. R.A.S.C. attached to the Regiment proceeded to join Headquaters 2nd Army Cologne for duty as a Provost Reinforcement Officer.
The Officer acting as Town Major at Zons to also perform the duties of Regimental Staff Officer for Civil Duties with effect from this date.
Commanding Officer's Parade as strong as possible, in the New Theatre.
Address on various points.
All men proceeding on leave from this date ordered to take 2 blankets.
1919 –1/1stBuckinghamshire Battalion – MAGLIO.
Nothing Unusual.
Ration Strength: 16 Officers 284 OR. Casualties: 1 OR to Hospital.
1945 – 1st Bn Oxf & Bucks LI – North West Europe
The Regiment remained in reserve, moving forward behind the advancing Welshmen.
