The Papers of 30.1.19. received in billets: these caused considerable talk and excitement, revealing as they did to some extent the Scheme of the Armies of Occupation.
6337 A/Sgt Pegram was confirmed in his rank and finally appointed Sergt Bugler (Bugle-Major) in place of 6034 Parkinson, who had been promoted CQMSJT 19.10,18.
The following were promoted Lieutenants on completion of 18 months service: T/2/Lt C.R. Crosley. 2Lt H.L.Wardross (S.R.). 2Lt G.W. Shaw (S.R.).

LT E.C.J. ALLDAY, LT F.H.ROVER & 2LT R.C.F.CAULFIELD with 34 OR left Battalion for Demobilisation.
Ration Strength: 19 Officers 384 OR. Casualties: NIL.
1945 – 1st Bn Oxf & Bucks LI – North West Europe
On the 1st February the Regiment received orders for the attack into the Reichswald.
