1837 – 43rd - Consequent on the disturbed state of Canada, 43rd received orders to proceed by land from Fredericton to Quebec.
1918 – 2nd Bn OXF & BUCKS LI – SOLIERES to SENY.
The Regiment marched to SENY starting at 08.00 hours, parading in order; Buglers, Band, HeadQuarters, C, A, D, B Coys. All Transport moved independently under Brigade arrangements.
The route was ST LEONARD – HUY – LA SARTE – LES COMUNES – STREE – TINLOT. Teas were had on the march. No one fell out. A slow party marched independently via BOIS DE GOESNES – BELLE MAISON – VIRSET – BARSE – STREE.
Major J J Powell rejoined for duty from the 17th Royal Fusiliers.
