1918 – 2nd Bn OXF & BUCKS LI – NAMECHE to SOLIERES.
The Regiment started at 08.20 hours to march to SOLIERES, parading in order: Buglers, Band, A Coy, HeadQuarters, D, B, C Coys.
First line transport marched with the Regiment. Second line transport under Transport Officer. The route was via SCLAYN – ANDENNE – GIVES. The roads were bad, and the hill from the MEUSE VALLEY at GIVES exceptionally steep and trying.
Billets were reached at 13.30 hours, and the Company areas were found to be very scattered. No one fell out.
