9AM – 12NOON – Companies at disposal of Company Commanders for physical training and games.
Parties of Officers and NCOs reconnoitred forward area as far as DEMICOURT.
101st Reinforcement arrived – strength 2 Sgts & 34 ORs.
Orders received for the Regiment and one company 24th Royal Fusiliers to be prepared to take over the Left Front area of the Brigade (90th) in the Line relieving the 23rd Royal Fusiliers.
1918 –1/1stBuckinghamshire Battalion – S SISTO.
Battalion relieved 1/4 R BERKS during the Morning, relief being completed by 10am.
Battalion was in Right Sub-Sector. Coys being from Right to Left: - C, B, A, with D in Reserve.
The 3rd Bn 78 French Infantry Regiment were on Right and 5th GLOSTERS on Left.
Not much shelling during the day.
2nd LIEUT COWLISHAW rejoined from English Leave.
2nd LIEUT READE Rejoined from Brigade School.
No Patrols out at Night as front was patrolled by 1/4 OXFORDS with a view to carrying out a raid on SEC.
2nd LIEUTs READ (from Bde School) and COWLISHAW (from English Leave) rejoined the Battalion.
Ration Strength: 19 Officers 498 OR. Casualties: 2 OR Hospital – Sick.
