1810 - The Light Division retiring on Torres Vedras, reached Pombal
1918 – 2nd Bn OXF & BUCKS LI – LOCK 7.
The Regiment remained in Support.
There was slight shelling of the railway at FLAT FOOT FARM.
Lt Col R B Crosse DSO having sailed on 30.9.18 at the expiration of his period of sick leave, rejoined, but remained for one week at Rear Headquarters, under treatment.
1918 –1/1stBuckinghamshire Battalion – LEFT BATTN SECTOR LEFT-BDE (KARER LABAS).
Battn relieved by 1/4 R BERKS in front line.
Came back into Brigade Reserve and became responsible for main line (JUNIPER & JARGON trenches). Coys in shelters just behind the line.
Order from Right to Left C, D, B, A.
Relief of A Coy in front line (Right Coy) carried out after dark.
LT COL REYNOLDS returned to Temporary Command of 145 Inf Bde owing to absence of BRIG GEN PITT-TAYLOR to Temporary Command of Division.
MAJOR P A HALL assumed Temporary Command of Battalion.
Ration Strength: 24 Officers 617 OR Casualties: NIL
