The 6th and 99th Infantry Brigades were said to be going into the line in relief of the 36th Division.
The Regiment passed from V in to IV Corps.

Hot coffee was provided for the men at PIERRELATTE which was reached at 7.50am.
Very lovely country all day.
Hot food for the men at ARLES at mid day.
Two men left behind at AVIGNON but rejoined train at MARSEILLES.
Train arrived at MARSEILLES at dusk.
1917 – 6th (S) Bn Oxf & Bucks LI – BATTLE OF CAMBRAI
The Battalion remained in the H Line but each night worked in the new front line.
