1853 – 43rd – Marched from King Williams Town to East London, South Africa, prior to embarkation to MADRAS.
1915 - 1st Bn Oxf & Bucks LI - heavily engaged Battle of Ctesiphon - (casualties,13 Officers and 450 men).
1917 - 1/4th Bn Oxf & Bucks LI - left France for Italy.
1918 – 2nd Bn OXF & BUCKS LI – VIEUX RENG.
The Regiment found road cleaning parties.
Bathing and washing of underclothing was carried out under company arrangements.
B Company held a concert in the evening.
1918 –1/1stBuckinghamshire Battalion – MAGLIO.
3 Hours Training in Morning – C Coy played OXFORDS in the BRIGADE football competition & Won 3-0.
2 Pigs bought at VALDAGNO midst great excitement of parties. They are to be fed up for Xmas Dinners.
Ration Strength: 26 Officers 676 OR. Casualties: NIL.

Coy training during the morning.
C Coy played C Coy BUCKS in the preliminary round of Bde Inter Company Competition – BUCKS won 3-0.
A most unfortunate accident occurred just after the interval, L/C BARNES breaking his right leg, as the result of a collision with the opposing outside right. Lt Col. REYNOLDS who was on the ground, bound up the leg with officers walking sticks as splints and the injured man was taken to the Field Ambulance in a car.
