About midnight 16th/17th Orders which had previously been received for the Regiment to march to DOUZIES were cancelled, notification being sent from Brigade that there would be no movement this day.
A voluntary Church Service was held in the evening.
Notification received that Capt A G Cardy had been evacuated to England, and so Struck Off the Strength.
